Joyce Mezua, de 21 años, es estudiante de Sociología en la Universidad de Panamá y miembro del pueblo indígena Emberá. Activista desde los 10 años, fundó Juventud Indígena Panamá para fortalecer la identidad cultural y el sentido de pertenencia entre jóvenes indígenas. Ha participado en el programa SUSI y en foros internacionales, destacándose en la defensa de los derechos de su comunidad y en la promoción de la cultura Emberá.
